Requesting help with authentication

Interwatches is offering this Oyster Perpetual on ebay. I would appreciate opinions as to authenticity and price.

I would not touch a Casio on eBay...much less a "vintage" watch.

The seller has lots of vintage and new stuff with 100% positive feedback. Most prices look reasonable enough. I would probably buy from the seller....the watch, on the other hand I don't know enough to comment. Good luck.

I think its a fake because Rolex does not have a history of stamping anything on the back since they prefer a smooth back.

Pretty sure it's real, at least some parts are. Looks like an early Oyster Cushion, but I bet the dial has been redone and it looks overpolished to me.

The watch is predominantly original, and the seller is solid. You do not buy vintage watches in eBay end of story. This watch has been restored to look new, on eBay that works, many sellers do this, nothing wrong with it, this watch is not particularly rare or valuable. True collectors don't buy them like that. Most collectors prefer watches without resprayed dials and all the patina polished out if it's vintage case. We collectors are weird we love faded and spider cracked patined dials and faded bezel inserts, the lug holes, plexiglas glass etc

Interwatches is a solid seller. Rule is - buy the seller, and you'll be safe.

You can skip the Fleab and deal directly with the seller:
