I do not even wanna know how much the Zenith is gonna cost sigh, got myself a 70's Defy in perfect condition, that is nice enough and only 1/100 of the price

The JLC Master Compressor Extreme is an amazing watch with no lubricants (liquid) and not specified service interval. So it may not need a service for 20 years or more, who knows JLC doesn't However, as I understand it they are only making 4 pieces per year and the cost is about $300,000+ so I better start saving |

The JLC Compressor Extreme Lab was developed in the special JLC development division of JLC. Only the most highly skilled watchmakers (of which there are very few) can build this watch.
The investment in R&D by JLC in the development of this watch is said to be immense. I don't even know that you could get one if you had USD$300,000 JLC claim it to be the first watch without the use of traditional lubricants. Accordingly, all the parts of the working movement are made out of special high tech metals and/or surface treated/coated with friction reducing materials. There is no 'machine' that is maintenance free and so at some stage sooner or later the watch will require service. Now if you can afford the watch, you might need to save up for the service costs, because that ain't going to be cheap either and it will have to go back to the factory in Switzerland were maybe only a few watchmakers are fit to work on it. P.S. if your in Europe the price will only be about 2OO,000 Euros bargain Kind of makes that rare Comex Sea-Dweller and Paul Newman Daytona bargains!!!!!!
