A couple of weeks ago when I went to my AD, they said it was going to be about 2 more months before Rolex was going to be shipping them out based on their last conversation with the regional rep.

Seriously is there a person out there that is going to spend that kind of money on a new Exp II?
If that's the case I'll make sure I pick one up when my AD calls and sells it to me for the list price of $7,750.

It's a nice watch. Probably not worth paying premium for it. My AD would give me 8% discount in January.

People with expendable income will not care about a slight markup, all they want is the watch. How much does it cost? They don't care..as long as they can get one. |

I got an almost 25% discount on my Sub C and hope to get the same on the new Explorer 11 next spring when I'm ready to buy.
I'm finding that the grey market dealers & online dealers (if there is any difference) are more expensive than the AD's these days.(Canadian AD's anyway) |

Probably you could get one from a respectable AD or DavidSW without the premium in pretty short order.

Looking forward to trying one on. Looks like this could be the time for an Explorer. Been on the fence for a few years. All my watches are black face, so I'd be looking for a white face to change things up.

I'm sure someone will pay the extra price. It won't be me though.

Here we go again. We should be familiar with this pattern by now.
I patiently waited for the hype to settle down on the Sub-C and was able to secure one at a decent discount over list. |
