I just remembered something... Back in the late 70s, there was a series on Saturday morning called: "Jason of Star command" If involved this swash-buckling star-traveling hunk that wandered around the galaxy, doing good deeds and winning for the innocent victims of evil people. WELLLLLLLLLLL...... The head bad guy was someone named... Oh heck, here is the description: Jason was an officer of Star Command, which was located on the same asteroid as Space Academy. Star Command's job was to protect the innocent from the bad guys, most notably Jason's archenemy, the one-eyed Dragos Anybody recognize that name? He had this helmet, with one-eye that shot lazer beams and I used to vote for him to win EVERY Saturday! But... alas, that darn Jason and the good-side one every time! SOME DAY! Yes... yes... SOME DAY THE EVIL DRAGOS WILL PREVAIL!!!!! |

Daredevil... Frank Miller was writing this when I was a kid, very gritty!
Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, Thor & Silver Surfer are all up there as well along with good ol Captain Britain obviously!

I never really liked Batman. A bipolar sociopathic recluse billionaire vigilante isn't exactly a character a typical guy can identify with.
