One of the biggest joys of owning a Rolex is you know you're holding something that is genuinely made. Can't say I would get that reassurance after reading some of your posts.

IMO you have made an intelligent informed decision you will not regret. Go to WhosWho under Classifieds and read up. Then proceed.

finding a trusted seller who accepts paypal will offer necessary protection.

Also the watch descriptions are more consistent, as there are a bit of checks and balances here.
I have to disagree. I would go with a trusted TRF seller any day over Ebay!

Yes my post also applies to TRF sellers. That's why I said that maybe TRF members have dealt with this ebay seller before can get some feedback. Hearing it from a WIS adds another tick to the 100% feedback. Research the seller.

Sorry Subtona - I somehow quoted you when I meant to quote RolexYM.

So did the guy who is still waiting for his Rolex from a "trusted" TRF seller due to UPS mishap: http://rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=189935

Yeah, no thanks...Ebay for me. If the above transaction was thru Ebay, the buyer would have had his refund long time ago!

I agree the term "trusted seller" is pretty vague. I won't get into any names but there are probably only 3 or 4 here that I would be comfortable dealing with.

good luck
This is not a low price. I would consider $4,000 a good deal and $4,500 a little high. I don't know the seller.

I didn't read the ad carefully, but knowing the last service date is probably more of a cost factor than the $4,000 or $4,500 price difference.
