Is this kosher? Three simple questions please

1992 Sub 16618

Oh worldly Rolex experts... I am a nervvy little soul...

What is your opinion on:

1) Runs down in 32 hours after manual wind - Is this acceptable?

2) The gold bracelet - Has 11 links, 4 detachable ones have pins not screws. The bracelet number is r10. Is this the right number of links and should there be pins not screws?

3) The dates are nice and clear - close 9s not the 'open 9' - Is this in synch with its 1992 manufacture? or has the calender dial been changed?

Thanks

M

Dear M,

as said you're welcome to PM me. Also it is easier/better to keep your questions to ONE thread, since basically you are asking the same thing in the other thread.

http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=20787

Just a suggestion since it can seem confusing

I can only give you my opinion for what it's worth.

Thirty two hours seems a bit light to me on a properly serviced movement.

I'm not aware of any bracelet of that era on a gold or TT or SS watch that uses pins. I read the responses on your other thread and even if it was a riveted bracelet(which is way to late for a 92 vintage watch) it would look like this,

Closed is probably OK.

Does this watch have a tritium dial? Marked "SWISS T<25" at the bottom?
Can you post a photo or get the first three numbers of the serial number?

Thanks, Mike, that was the riveted band I was talking about

As I say myself, this band was in use MUCH earlier than 1992.
