Looking for a specific Rolex web link
Guys,
I wanted to post a link that I THOUGHT I had in my extensive link "collection" only to find out that it was NOT in my "Favourites"! I don't know where it has gone, but here is what the link what about: It was a TEST of the SD where an owner actually had an SD attached to the OUTSIDE of a "diver's bell" or small submarine. He was himself inside that submarine and being able to see on a PC monitor how the SD managed the 1,220 metres depth that he was actually going down to with the SD. In the link there were many pictures of the SD. The SD passed the test with honours. I believe I saw that link again here on TRF recently and I just thought by myself "Oh, that link is familiar to me, I have that one" and went on. But now - today - when I wanted to share this great link in a reply to a post about the SD, I discovered it was NOT in my Favourites anymore So my plea is: Do anymore know this link and can you provide it to me, please? I DID try to do a search for it here, but there were simply too many "SD" hits

Yup! That is the link I was searching for! Thanks, Mike, you're a pal! I THOUGHT it was under the "bjs online forum", under THIS link: http://www.network54.com/Forum/38035...ge/1154965085/ but strangely enough that forum has been closed down! I believe it must have been somewhere under that link

You probably have this one but it is a somewhat related topic that I thought was pretty cool. http://bjsonline.com/watches/articles/0022_4.shtml |

Yup, had that one, but thanks anyway! Speaking of the "Deep-Sea Special", I have just taken some pics from an auction catalogue I have ("Dr. H. Crott Auctions", from May 2001). Front page: Text about the "Deep-Sea Special", a TT version (!) that was unique at auction: Side view of the "Deep-Sea Special": Front view of the "Deep-Sea Special":

Well, IMHO it is ugly as hell. But it sure would be a good investment if you found one!
