Keep the gmt. It does look good on you and
The exp is even larger but also looks good. It may be less busy
Bezel wise but also will show scratches and dings unlike
The hmt bexel

Hi Otto , another vote for keeping the GMT. Its has more bling than the E42 and it looks great on you

It's like having a hot blonde and a sexy brunette. And say all three of you get along very very well. And say you can afford both of them but it dawned on you that you don't need both of them. I say to you my friend, some days, one beer is not enough. Buy the 42mm explorer......keep and love both equally.

Ott, I would keep the GMTIIC, it better fits you and IMO is a more versatile watch !

Ciao

gotta go new explorer II black.

it's more of a change from your other watches. it doesn't have PCLs, a shiny ceramic bezel with a strange font, or fat lugs.

and, most importantly, the orange will match your g-shock!

Otto, I have met you and to that extent I have an advantage in giving my opinion to you.

I have owned the GMTIIC and although I do like it, I ended up selling it. I was not particularly happy with the wrist feel.

Now after 3 weeks of wearing the EXII42 daily I have an opinion on that watch.

I feel that you will love the EXII42. It is a very well proportioned and put together timepiece. Although 42mm it feels more comfortable on my wrist than the GMTIIC.

The new super-maxi hands are nothing short of a joy to see. It is a great tool watch and I thoroughly recommend it to you.

I am quite critical of my watches. e.g. my WG blue dial SubC is on the market (it didn't make the grade). So in recommending the EXII42 I would say I didn't like it, if that were so.

Ultimately, the decision is yours but I just wanted to give you my on what I would suggest to you.

Regards
Stevo

Steve,

Thanks much. I will think about this a couple of days. The Explorer II is very tempting.

I am not a fan of the new black face Exp 2. The floating orange hand does not do it for me. I would keep the GMT or look at the white face.
