Why would a datejust need a diving bezel.

Maybe a franken watch or a fake. I'm not sure I don't know much outside the sport line.

It's a TOG Thunderbird, the bezel is legit if genuine. Look at the last watch in my sig pic, it's got the same bezel.

Yeah like I said I don't know much outside of the sports line for the life of me I couldn't understand why a Datejust would need a diving bezel (I still don't) that's why I thought it might be fake, I guess it's just not my kind of watch...I'll shut up now.

Ande, if you know the ref no. you could check it against the
oysterworld site for possible dials and bracelets. It's supposed to be an excellent, respected compilation but I don't know that it is absolutely complete.

It does check out as a valid configuration, thanks. Now all I need are the experts here to tell me if it's real or a good copy.

I thought it was. In fact when I saw yours posted I hurried back to the listing for this one to be sure you hadn't gotten mine!

Thanks for that. Maybe crowncollection or one of the other regulars here could second that? I'm seriously getting the bug for this one....

What years would that box be correct for?

So how do I get the real experts to come in here and tell me if this watch is real or not? Do I need to claim the seller is trying to scam someone?
