Typewriters
I have IBM Electric Type writer, It bought ten years ago. I am very careful about its maintenance and oiling so it works as a brand new typewriter. IBM electric Typewriters are always good.

Welcome to TRF.
Are you aware that this is a watch and not a typewriter Forum?

typewriter..see how the "w" in type writer is a little separated from the "r" and in the word separated the "a" is not next to the first "r" as well. Or is it just my computer. Guess this thread is getting booted.

I can't imagine why you posted this in a Rolex forum, but to give the benefit of the doubt I moved it to at least some place more fitting.

Cut him a break guys. I still have and use a Selectric III, and it also is impeccably maintained, since you can barely find supplies/parts anymore. I use it to type forms that can't be done on a computer.

I think the most impressive thing here is that he has a well oiled typerwriter that is essentially brand new. It would probably go for mad bucks on ebay.

Yeah, cut him a break, for all we know English is not his primary langauge, and he is just sharing one of his hobbys/interests. Besides, I like typwriters too! Well, at least one of them. I have my Grandmother's 1927, still works as far as I know, anyone want to see a pic?

Unless, of course, he happens to drive a white van with a 40mph scratched fender.
