PAM OP XI movement

Just wondering if you guys found manual winding PAM with OP XI movement noisy, as in it makes loud ticking sound?

I got PAM 177 and I can hear the ticking sound in quiet environment. My other watches with auto movement doesn't make ticking sound as loud as the PAM

Yes, my new 183 ticks louder than any of my other watches. The house would have to be dead quiet before I could hear it without putting it near my ear though.

The 6497 movement is loud. It is a lower beat movement than a Rolex with a large escapement.

It clicks louder as a result.

I have found it is louder on models with a display back compared to a solid back. Like a 000 is louder than a 112. I honestly love hearing the beast when I put my hand on the side of my head as I often do while driving and at my desk.

I'd also say my 210 is louder than my 111.

Yup, my 000 is louder than the 233 manual wind.

It's not really bothering me, but glad to know its normal..

I can hear it when I'm in a car stopping for red light with no music on, sometime at office when there's quiet moment where nobody talking / typing.. or maybe I'm too sensitive :p
