And... here goes the last pic, with 0% light
Looks like the dial is really fresh, using Tritium. I think between 8-10 years. The tritium of the hands is probably +20, since the ZnS is totally oxydized, plus the tritum with lass than 2 half lifes, IMO. |

Tip of the day!!!!
If you are using your camera with a flash in macro mode , try a bit of white tissue paper in front of the flash as it acts as a diffuser so you cut out the strong reflection off the glass. |

Antonio, that watch looks great, but I'm with you, in macro mode it takes me forever to get a decent shot and then it still looks much worse than in person.
That is a sharp watch. |

That is a nice, classic vintage watch with the acrylic crystal still on there!
I really like the dial color and bezel on there too, it is a great combination. You have great taste Arturo. Enjoy that beauty in the very best of health! Nice pictures too! For tritium on the hour markers, they are still glowing pretty bright.

I hope it's not gaining 30+, that DJ! Anyway, I once owned a DJ 16234 (WG bezel) with a blue dial exactly like yours. My AD had a very old dial from the 1960ies or 70ies that I had put on the DJ, since I liked the "early" features of it: 1) Raised/pronounced middle section of the hour markers 2) ½-second divisions between the second markers. You got a REALLY nice dial there for a 1986 DJ!

30+ is too low I think, In +13 hours it has gained/losed +-0 compared with my fresh quartz watch ;)
Btw, I confused the serials between the sellers! This one is from the ends of 1981, and the dial is a brand new one from January of this years, with Tritium on it. Quote:

1) Rolex would not make Tritium dials today 2) Rolex does not make those dials with ½-second markers anymore, and also not these kind of hour markers Period!
