Habring2 Foudroyante

Yesterday I took delivery of my Habring2 manual wind Foudroyante watch and decided to borrow a camera to try and capture a few snaps of it. The pics are unlikely to worry Jocke in the 'best pics on the forum' award but they're the best I could manage with a camera that had 10 million settings, none of which seemed to be the point and click idiot mode I needed (lots of mirror polished steel and bad lighting didn't help much either)

The watch is absolutely stunning to look at and still pics can't really do it justice - you need to see the foudroyande seconds making its 8 jumps per second whilst the dead beat centre seconds hand lazily hops around 1 second at a time.

Sorry Rolexes but I don't think you'll be getting much wrist time in the immediate future.

Hmmm, when I've resized the pics everything's come out a bit squashed looking - never mind - I've got the camera for a few days and will attempt some better pics soon.

Thanks everyone! It's actually quite large at 42mm and it's fairly deep too so it's not a 'true' dress watch, although it is by far the dressiest of my collection. I'll do a full review once I've had it a while and got some more pics taken.

Just got myself a black Toshi strap with natural stitching to compliment the Habring2. £60 or so for a handmade customizable strap really is quite the bargin compared to what most OEM straps sell for. Can't recommend Toshi (Richard) enough.
