I am not a great fan of that model Thomas but it looks good in your pix.

The combination of colours is excellent.

I wasn't much a fan of AP's until i tried one on, then it went very expensive:bang head:

You should see it in person, the colors really pops on this one

Lovely!
What made you go with the RO Chrono over the VC
Chrono? I love them both but sort of like the VC Bracelet a
bit more and the 42 mm.

Still I can't manage to fall enough for one over the other to actually pull the trigger on one.

Because it is labelled AP!
Here is my 2cents, for many of us, we love the distinct look of it compared to the other brands. It is so sporty yet elegant. Besides, it looks young too, suitable for the younger generation (me) and even for those latter. Hence, it is widely acceptable from any age groups. However, it seems that you prefer a sport watch to have at least 100m WR, but from what I've known, the construction design on the RO case is very resistant to water. I have no problem to bath/swim with it, no diving of course, they are built without diving in their mind though. Anyway, I love VC too but on their classic lines. Hope it helps.

Now let us hear the thoughts from Thomas.

Best regards.

I absolutely love the distinct design of AP's and it wears both sporty and yet so elegant
I have never been concerned about the watch resistance on a 50m AP, And absolutely not after seeing a pic of a guy that was wearing his 20m WR Royal Oak Grande Complication (perpetual calendar and minute repeater) in his pool

Haha, are you talking about the watch with roughly $1m MSRP? Where is the picture of it, any links? I have not been concerned about the WR, after hearing this from you, I don't even need to know what is WR.
Actually we just need to regularly pressure test our watch and change those altered gaskets will do. Cheers.

I will try to find that pic,I think have it saved on my MacBook
A pressure test before summer and new gaskets when serviced is enough for my summer swim

Well, I wasn't really choosing between a AP and Overseas.

And as much as I like the brand, I never kind of liked the shiny bezels on the Overseas line other than that I kind of would prefer them to be 40mm rather then 42mm.
If i was ever buying a Overseas it would be the on in TI.
Or the beautiful American 1921

Yeah, I am on the fence for the shiny bezel, actually I am okay with shiny bezel but this one just seems to be better looking with those titanium bezel, giving them a more soild feel. For the American 1921, it is one of my favourite now for VC dress watch.
