Whats going on now?
Last December I had my Submariner serviced; it now looked great and ran great. About a month ago it started loosing time, about 20 seconds a day which is too much for me so I was going to take it back in this week. This morning I went to wind the watch to get it going since I hadn’t worn the watch in about a week, and as I was winding it, something didn’t feel right. As I would wind it,it felt like the gears were slipping. As you’d wind it you could hear and feel the watch wind and then slip. So now I have two problems.
Its going back in tomorrow, my first question is this a major problem? My second question is do you think this should be covered under warranty? Every time I had this watch serviced it ran without any problems for over ten years , now its ten months. I appreciate any advice you have. Lance |

It is under warranty, you should get a year warranty on a movement service

2 years warranty if serviced by a Rolex RSC...Definately take it in!
Did it start running after you wound it?

3 or 4 things may have gone wrong teeth missing on ratchet wheel or slide pinion or winding pinion or a screw on a main plate has loosened up causing gears to be misaligned. Either way do not wind or wear it till you get it checked out. Rikki

As Rikki suggested or the mainspring could be broken? It could have broken part/mid way along its length. It needs to be checked out.
