For me, the first 3 have to be Rolex-- GMT, Sub, DJ. I've had or have all three. The next on my list are probably GP (have a couple chrono's) and JLC, which I have never had.
As much as I like JLC and appreciate Patek and others, they are almost all dress watchmakers who occasionally make sportier models. It's hard for me to justify big bucks for a watch that can't get wet. IMO, a watch with a leather strap was not made for everyday, every situation wear like all Rolex. |

I've owned an ROO and it was the most over-rated watch I have ever owned. Sold it within a few weeks. The 3 brands that I would own...and I'll even give models are:
