How long should my Rolex keep time?
Wife's XMAS present, Ladies Datejust 69160 circa 1986.
After 40 winds, the watch only keeps time for about 1 day and a half. Note, the watch is sitting in a box in its hiding place (so its not getting "fueled" by movement). Is this normal? |

Sounds completely normal to me. The power reserve is right about that with a 40 turn wind. I wouldn't worry in the slightest.
