I'm too old. PAM dial is much more visible for me :D... No, love them both really. Which one to put on depends on my mood. Today is GMT2C. Tomorrow is more casual which is my 367 turn.

They are nice. But how often do you see people wearing a Panerai watchbox on their wrist?

I haven't pulled the trigger on a PAM yet (soon) but the brand appealed to me in terms of both style and history. The cases are distinct and I do love the variations. While I love my Milgauss, I feel like the Rolex line is a little stale.

If I could I would. When asked about the watch, I speak about the box:)

yeah that is a superstar!

im in a 210, the base rad style just nails it for me as well... hits all the right buttons:
*uncluttered
*matte dial
*domed crystal
*way cool strap retention
*sandwich dial

+you've added some precious metal, classic!

I like them both. I like the feeling when I wear my Pam 312, it just oozes with sex appeal and the obvious wrist presence. I also love my Daytona. I think they compliment each other well and will always have a place in my wrist. It depends on what I feel like wearing on a particular day or occasion. Both are keepers :)

I've wanted a Daytona as long as I can remember (1984). I love having it and owning it. Its my most comfortable watch I own but... My 328 gets the most wrist time.

I can't get enough of it. Add another strap and you feel like you have another watch. A 233 is on my list but I might get a vintage sub before

I love Rolex but I cheat with Panerai more and more...

I get a lot of compliments about my Rolex watches but usually its "nice watch" or "I like your Rolex"..
with Panerai I already heard it twice: "wow, sexy watch!"
honestly!!

hm... i dunno, i started this whole pam mania from TRF... Rolex is my root... but somehow, Pam caught my attention more... simplicity of the dial, the brotherhood of the ristis.... just different experience...

I have to admit my passion for Panerai has been waning recently. Maybe because I've tried all the ones that interest me or there are so many other brands to sample? 40% of my collection is Rolex but that's going to come down as well. Regardless, I'll always have a Rolex and Panerai in my stable.

I love both, but Panerai is just more fun to wear as a whole!

SDDS and 111

I Wear the deepsea about 70% of the time. Once I pick up a 312 I will have two Rolex and two panerai. I would say at that point I would wear the Pams the most because my 14060 will start to feel small again in comparison to the others.

I often think the comparison is a bit like a German car and an Italian car (yeah obviously Rolex isn't German!). You buy a Rolex for its absolute efficiency, reliability, quality, badge and functionality, whereas you buy an Italian car because despite anything, it makes your heart beat faster.

Only my opinion though.

I think Rolex, PAM, and Omega are hitting the upper core of expensive watch collecting today. These guys are getting pretty serious and make very fine watches. Eventually, I think they will be pushing in the upper crust of watch making in the next few years.

PAM wise. I love my 112. Great watch. Flawless and is great to wear.
