He won't deal over the net...he's made that perfectly clear to me. If you want a watch "cheap", you would have to come to Auckland!!

Hey, Casino Royale is a GREAT movie, but that IS a cheesy line for an advertisement on Omegas part. You know that if it were up to James Bond he would still have a Sub on his wrist

$175 for a blue dial (never seen another like it) date with an oyster bracelet in 1974. It was half off (insurance settlement) so decidedly "grey"; MRSP $350. Date of manufacture about 1970.
Don't know how many crystals and on my third bracelet. Last overhaul six months ago. Runs like a charm, looks great! |

Damn! Sorry to hear about that, Al How come you can even afford a Rolex then? I for my part am by no means "by no means" (Hmm, I don't think I am getting this right: I mean I don't have much money! funny) but I set my priorities towards ROLEX and DUNHILL PIPES. After that come the women, but I get some time for them, too, it seems

$2800 for my 2001 16710 and $4390 for my D serial Kermit. Now I am waiting for some unlucky bastard who is has to sell me his 116713 for a nice price. I love the new models but it seems the prices are going off the scale lately. Including taxes almost $10K for a TT?! In Europe it's even worse. No more new Rolex watches for me.

$ 990.00 new gmt in 1985, still have the receipt, tags and box. That was alot of coin for a teenager. Last year had a complete rebuilt, new dial, (dial was cracked), hands looked bad and blue&red looked bad so all that replaced and service. Like 6-7 hundred. But its worth it. It truely looks like new, with a little band wear.

$800.00 in Germany for a 1985 new GMT II fresh out of the box. Worn daily until this week. Will give it to my son tomorrow.
This week $5950.00 for a new GMT Ceramic. I was not put a 2 month waiting list, the sales lady was very attractive, drenched in gold and diamonds, with a super plunging dress and nice tanned b**bs, for a few minutes I even forgot why I was there. Anyway she did give me a 5 year warrenty. I did remember to wear the watch home. I'm happy---all that counts. |

Funny how these "attractive female AD sales' assistants with nice cleavages" seem to come up every now and then!

Air King (2006) $2,900
No-date Sub (2006) $3,500 GMT-II (2007) $4,800 Ladies Plat YM (2007) $6,700 The first three were bought in Germany tax free. I would have made a killing had it not been for a poor exchange rate. The last for my wife was bought in San Antonio with a 10% discount. I bought it on vacation, but had I waited until I got back to Germany, I could have saved $500. I guess it's nice buying watches on vacation to remember the time spent there, but I don't know if it's $500 nice! |
