I'm lucky enough to be in a guild where I can play ~4-5 hrs. a week after the kids are in bed and still raid all the high end content.

F1 2011, Forza 4 and Battlefield 3 are getting a lot of game time with me at the moment. I would perhaps say that Left 4 Dead is one of the best recent games, redefined the zombie genre, and great fun with friends!

By the way, for any Forza 4 fans out there, I've started a TRF car club, the tag is RLEX

I've played GTA San Andreas for quite a long time and, to be honest, I truly loved it! I also have GTA4 for my computer but haven't got the time to install it yet (long story short my old computer wasn't good enough and now that I bought a new one I just have to try it). Otherwise I really like scary games so I decided to buy Amnesia: The Dark Descent...one of the best games I've ever played but also the biggest mistake I ever made! My mother still laughs at me because it scared the living hell out of me!

I used to be in on of the bleeding edge raiding guilds during Sunwell, there was a point when we were pushing towards KT for continental firsts when it was more time involved than a full time job.

20 years ago I played Realms of the Dragon (based at University of Michigan), one of the first MUDs.
Now I watch my son play Angry Birds and Lego Universe

Sweet! My gamer tag is rec74u. I play Forza 4 all the time. I'm also on battlefield 3 quite a bit.

my copy of Call of Duty MW3 arrived this morning, a day ahead of release thanks to Amazon & their pre-order system, had to tear myself away from it this morning to come & open up the shop but first impressions are great, on level 2 with the Navy Seals...

Red Dead Redemption
Assassin's Creed II
The Uncharted series is WAY up there.
I play a lot of Fifa, Madden, NCAA football... But they aren't the best games overall. Too many glitches on the annual release sports games. They never clean it up.

Having just finished Battlefield 3, I'd say that is the greatest modern first person shooter, and up there for any game. The beautiful scenery, fun game play, and stunning atmosphere they've created are amazing. Hearing the .50cal Barrett shell drop to the wooden floor after being ejected w/ headphones on is orgasmic :)

Can't wait for COD MW3!

Sweet! Skyrim is supposed to be released 11/11, and I've ordered the same way as you. Hoping it gets here a day early as well!

i wanted the new Battlefield too but being that close to the release of COD MW3 i knew it would get ditched in favour of COD, once i'm done with it hopefully Battlefield will be cheaper or i'll have had a pre-owned copy in the shop

i played video games on colecovision (qbirt!) and the first nintendo (metroid!), then i kind of found other things to (college, post-college), and, now that my five-year old likes to play games, i'm getting back into it.

so, i'd have to say the best post-2000 game is "doodlejump".

sorry....i haven't even heard of 95% of the games on this thread.

COD series
Bioshock series
GTA series.

Can't wait for MW3 and bioshock infinite, gunna have to play at my buddies though - if I had a console I wouldn't get anything done haha

Deus Ex Human Revolution is my favorite game this year so far.

Just finished: Dark Souls - phenomenal game. first play through took 100 hours.

about to start Uncharted 3

then Assassins Creed: Revelations

then onto the new Zelda probably

most likely Skyrim after that.
