We haven't had the one that really stirs the pot yet...

Who was the best BOND!

(and god help us if that old chestnut gets dragged up... We all KNOW it was Connery!)

Would you like to post this oldie but goodie question? If not, I'm sure it will surface pretty soon. I'm betting it will get posted by one of our trouble-making Aussies or, perhaps, Carl the crazy Canadian.

Carl, ya there?

Well BlacksportM has done his part of posting Bond threads... It does not necessarily mean his is a trouble maker. Lacking thread creativity perhaps...

The best James Bond thread, dear boy, would be any thread in one of his numerous Savile Row suits.

Cheers.

I think it's generally accepted that his tailor (at least in the books) was probably just off "the Row".

my favourite would be either Goldeneye or The Man With The Golden Gun, but the BEST would be Goldfinger and by a mile too.

Craig! My man! It's been a long time since you started one of your philosophical threads!

I would never dare to ask who's the best Bond, too many people would come and agree with me on Roger Moore!

I liked Connery but I think they went too far when they made him search for the Holy Grail with his son...clearly James had too much time to waste...

Carl - maybe you should start an 'All things James Bond Month' thread.

I'm sure there's still a few Bond topics we haven't delved into.
