16013, two tone Datejust just bought!

I have just purchased as a gift for my wife a 1985 Rolex Datejust, 36mm white dial, in gold and s/steel, serial number on docs starts with an 8 (I think from memory).

Can anyone tell me a little about Datejusts from this period, calibres used and power reserve, anything to watch out for when I give it the once over after opening (it is in gift wrap for a couple of days yet).

I presume at this age it is acrylic rather that sapphire and not a quick-set date? It has recently been serviced according the dealer selling and the bracelet is a new, genuine Rolex, bracelet. It is the type with the outer links in steel and the three middle links in gold. Is this Jubilee or Oyster - is that the right names for the bracelet types?

Any links to resources or reviews of the watch would be great.

Also, I have no booklet with it. Is there any information in there I need to know. I may try and source one to make up a complete set anyway.

Thanks in advance, and I'm now a Rolex owner for the two days before I hand it over!!
