Continental DC Jewelers??
Can anybody tell me why I should stay away? Spoke with Jim on the phone and he seems like a stand up guy. My only reservation is he is not an AD.
Let's hear your experience. |

Who told you to stay away? I have bought from Jim many times over the years and can tell you he IS a stand up guy! His service and prices will be very tough to beat.

No nobody told me to stay away I was just wondering if there was any reason I should stay away? With all the high quality fakes out there I don’t want to take a chance of getting a fake just to save a couple of hundred dollars. Unfortunately I'm not enough of an expert to be able to tell the difference between a genuine and a fake.
I would just like to hear some firsthand feedback about these guys just to be 100% sure that they are GTG P.S. I can PM anybody that is interested a link on another forum what I'm talking about. From the pictures posted on this forum I personally wouldn't be able to tell the difference. |

I bought 3 Omegas from him. The first two purchases went well but I wasn´t happy with the outcome of the third. To keep the story short, I got a defective Speedy and he agreed to exchange it. The replacement I got had an alignment issue (The central chrono hand wasn´t resetting to zero properly). When I call him about this, the next day after I got it, he started talking to me like I have never owned a watch before and suggested sending it to the Omega Service Center as a solution.
He´s no longer an AD so you´re buying from a gray dealer. |

I have dealt with Jim several times and each experience was fantastic.
I was not aware that Continental Jewelers is no longer an Omega AD. Can someone verify that is correct? |

Jeez things got kind of ugly over there. Anybody got a trusted Omega AD that gives fair discounts? I would appreciate a PM Thanks |

i would go with Jim, the Omega warranty would still be valid and it’s like buying from one of the trusted sellers here. All of the watches he sells are new with the plastics on them. Tough to get a better deal than Jim, I have bought several watches from him in the past for family members and always recommend him to potential buyers. Good luck in your search!
