BIG Five-O Birthday Give-Away TOP 10
Ok guys and gals......... So what started out as a bit a fun for my B-day has turned into quite a contest and the quality of the photos submitted were absolutely fantastic.
Thanks again to everyone that entered The "little lady" has, however, been struggling to decide (just too much pressure!!!) which I can understand given the numerous top notch photos. So with her agreement, I have drafted in two friends .... who also happen to be professional photographers to assist - so the judging panel really knows what they are talking about...... and, incredibly, there has been huge consistency in the judging. For example, a general consensus about the 5 current winners i.e. within this top ten was that " these instantly stood out from the others in terms of attention to detail and composition. Some of the others were not quite as well crafted, ie. the hands are not nicely spaced, the watch is a little out of focus or the context is a little messy/unappealing." I will also let you know the judges thoughts and comments when the FINAL FIVE WINNERS are declared at the weekend. Please also note that you are still able to enter ONE new photo you think will stand up against the quality of these 10 finalists...... but be quick as you only have today, tomorrow and Friday to do so. That includes the finalists as well if they want to hedge their bets Add any new photos to THIS THREAD. The TOP TEN..... so no prizes yet (AND IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER) are as follows; Grissom Dan Pierce Paul (Ayecarumba) Kyle (KyleL) Eduardo (Moviefreak) Artic Moose Joey (JoeyChitwood) Chris (ChrisB) Mike (Rockmastermike) Wes (Joker) |

Yes the quality was unbelievable and serious head scratching was required. The winning FIVE will be a nightmare to choose particularly if shots like Fifth Ave Rolex Man's keep coming in......
Other notable entries that just missed the top ten were... Greg (Mosco) The glamour gal shot for obvious reasons - just a little bit light on the watch Adam (drockadam) - amazing almost hypnotic close-up shot of the TAG Chad (tattoedfagin) - the deep sea with oranges - really vibrant and just needed a bit more care on placement and to avoid the iPhone and hand showing up in the face |
