Watch match your wedding ring?

Just wandering what the prevailing opinion is on this? I have always like a ss watch, however my wedding ring is gold and always think it looks weird with gold on my finger and silver on my wrist. I've never worn a TT watch before but think I'm leaning that way so the two will match. Opinions?

It didn't so I got divorced...

Well, it did actually - white gold matched the white gold watch at the time.

Now I've got the Sub I shall have to give the whole matter of marriage some considerable thought...

I got a stainless steel band - goes with everything but especially well with stainless steel Rolexes.

I have a only a solid gold Day Date II to go with my platinum wedding band.

In all seriousness, I love the gold watch and have no interest in the Platty DDII. And the watch is about 8 times more spendy than the ring.

Mine match (platinum ring with either a SS or WG watch). But honestly I don't think it matters that much. I actually had this discussion with an AD last week about that very topic. He was saying from his experience lately, people are mixing and matching gold colors. And that's precisely my excuse for the next watch I'm saving up for :-)

The only time my wedding band (platinum w. 6 brilliants) matches my Rolex timepieces is when I'm either wearing my 116234 or 18946 other than that nope.

I personally like TT watches because of their versatility when it comes to make them match with jewelry. Otherwise there's nothing wrong with buying another wedding band to make it fit with your watch (at least in my humble opinion).

I wear Plat with a SS Rolex, WG with a WG Rolex, and YG with a YG Rolex. All 3 bands are identical.
