The man hasn't played basketball for how many years and people still want a pair of his shoes. At least I know that a watch won't be worn down after 6 months. People are insane.

I wonder if I auctioned off my old Converse if it would start a riot?

The way people act about these shoes is shameful. I was able to get a pair for myself and my son, but I didn't have to get mixed up in the crowds to do so. If I did then I would have passed.

They are cool, and take me back to when I played in school, but they are just shoes...

The concord 11 is a special shoe because 23 wore it during the 72 win season, which ultimately ended in a Bulls championship. My friend waited until 12:01 AM this morning and order two pairs. Crazy? Maybe. But I think our obsession with watches is similar.

I can't wait to get a pair. Can't remember but I probably had a pair the first time around. Air Jordan's are my only sneaker.

i am a sneakerhead myself...4 yrs ago I had ALL J's up to 22 but sold most of them on ebay and some to friends. I just lost interest when I completed them all...mind you most are NOT retros like now. I thought about getting these concords since this were my shoes when I played varsity but passed. You can't play in them anymore...quality has def. gone down thru the years...these are one of my fav and the cement III's and blk IV's

I do agree the quality has gone way down. But I still like them. They fit my feet very nicely. I can't wear Reeboks. They just don't fit right.

Uncle Art I am sorry to say but the concords are sold out nationwide, however, your best bet would be to check eBay... Make sure you check the sellers feedback. You may be looking to pay up to $300.

I was hoping the stores would get more in. Are they limited production?

That number sounds about correct. This release was nationwide, however, you have kids all over the world who wanted to covet these sneakers. I am actually out of the states now and as you know Jordan is a household name all over, I first caught wind of the riots that happened in the states on Radio 24

Sam, I have an interesting B-ball card. It is of Sam Vincent when he played for the Magic. Jordan is guarding him wearing a no. 12 jersey. It was during the Magic's first or second year. When the Bulls were in town Jordan's jersey was stolen right before the game and he was given a generic no. 12 jersey. The pic for the Sam Vincent card was taken that game and Jordan happens to be in the background garding him wearing that jersey.

I remember that issue with the jersey...actually, MJ wasn't my first bball hero... It was Reggie Miller!

Reggie Miller was good, saw him play once or twice. Jordan to me was just so much better than anyone else on the court with him.

Uncle Art that is super rare! I remember seeing an old picture of Jordan wearing that #12 jersey in a Jordan tribute Beckett magazine when I was in High School. Whenever you want to sell it please let me know

Will do. Looking at the card now. It's a 1990 NBA Hoops card. Jordan is in front of Sam Vincent and Bill Cartwright is behind. Card#223. Probably tons of them and not worth much at all.
