I can't believe some of you are so close minded. I should be scared to customize the watch I want because of the almighty RUSA!? Please. EVERYTHING is customizable Rolex is no different.

You are missing the point! You can customize anything you want. Here is a horological 101 point for you, any timepiece (Rolex, Vacheron, Patek, etc.) fitted with aftermarket parts is considered a frankenwatch!

Does that make my jeep a Frankenjeep because it's got a lift kit and mud tires on it?

It's been well explained. It doesn't have to be a negative but "frankenwatch" means just that. You're jeep has nothing to do with it. Each to their own. People have different reactions to modifications involving high end watch brands. Doesn't make them narrow minded because they don't like the notion.

I should leave this one alone and I am not sure why I am even wasting my time on this but here you go. You asked a question in post #26 and I answered in post #27 without the you then disagreed in post #29 with my horology 101 frakenwatch example in which I replied good luck with the when you try and take it in for serivicing. And now you agree? Whatever Dnrexy good luck

I'm not a fan of the jeweled bezel insert.

Sorry didn't mean to offend. I just don't like jewels on sports models and that is what came to mind.

Your free to wear what you want. Hopefully we're free to tell our honest opinion!

Sorry but I have to agree. To each his own of course but I am just not a fan of bedazzling a "tool Rolex".
