U Boat Watch!!!!

Here's my recommendation -

Find a dealer who carries them. Go look at them. Then buy one. You'll never look back.

Just bought mine yesterday, and I LOVE IT! The one I bought is 48mm(I think). But somehow, it looks really great on my wrist, it's comfortable, and boy does it make a statement!

You can see mine at www.u-boatwatch.it , it's the Classico AS w/ orange band, right on the top left.

I like it as much as my Pannies, it cost only $1,200.- and delivers huge BANG for the buck.

This could become an addiction. In fact I'm already thinking about another one which my long-suffering wife can give me for Christmas... Larry.

Guys, I have the feeling that the U BOATS will very soon be widely available. I bought mine at Feldmar in West L.A., and was told they are flying out the door.

And they are really well priced! This brand could be the next Panerai...

Dan - I think the thing to do is go to your local dealers and ask for these watches. If they haven't heard of them it's high time they did! Larry.

These watches are nice but have an uncanny resemblance to the Invicta Russian Diver with canteen style winding crown protector. I guess I watch too many watches made for tv shows on slopnbc.

I just checked out the Russian Divers Mikey, and I kind of see what you mean. But there are important differences, to my way of thinking. The RD has the winder on the right, and it is so big as to be out of proportion to the case. Also a lot of them have many subdials, colors etc.

I find the U Boat to be more elegant, better proportioned, and quite striking in it's simplicity. It looks Italian, which it is.
What I like about it is that the UB just is what it is, no tricky stuff, no gew-gaws, just beautiful design. Pure and simple. Larry.

Hammer - Where in London is Liberty - I haven't heard of it. I have a brother who lives in London, and sometimes go to visit.

I have a gut feeling about the U BOATS that they are going to become more visible, more available as time goes on. I'm just hoping the prices don't start going up before I can bag another... Larry.

Just had to bring this post back up to the top. Why, you ask???

Because I'm trying to give U BOATS as much exposure and publicity as I can. That will stimulate demand, and help raise prices.

The big pay-off will be when my beautiful $1.200.- U Boat goes UP in value, maybe even to $1.350.-

Seriously, they are quite stunning, especially in person... Larry.

Interesting thing. I was @ Cozumel last night for a meeting and, while I was waiting for the boat (back to mainland), I went to one of AD's. They carry Vacheron, Cartier, TAG, Chopard, Panerai....and now, U-Boat! Some of the watches they had on display made my Panerai Luminor Marina look small!!!

Choice Bluewater/Lakeside. Don't think they are now tho. Liberty, Harrods in Knightbridge, and Selfrdges in Oxford Street..
