I am a buyer, but my FAVORITE thing to do is to use my credit card for EVERYTHING. I pay it off in full every month and I get all the points so I can trade in for cash/gift cards.
So this year, I have made $1000.00 on the back of BOA. I am thrilled and I am spending that money like a fiend. I have used points to install a Kitchenaid oven, along with my husbands points. I have two hardwood pool chairs and equipment. I am a happy woman. I also LOVE Amazon.com and buy everything I can off their site (if it is the best price).

I like shopping/browsing online. When I go to the store it's typically in and out.
Ok...I lied a little. Once I get into a clothes shopping groove, it's a bit like Julie whats-her-name in the movie Pretty Woman. But that doesn't happen often. |

Here is my opinion on the difference between men & women:
A man & a woman walk into a mall each knowing what they want to buy. They walk into Macey's and to their respective departments. They both find what they had in mind. The man buys it and leaves. The woman holds it up, looks it over closely, try's it on, asks the clerk "what else do you have?", looks at several other items and, finally leaves the store to look at every other store in the mall. After 2-4 hours she returns to Macey's and try's on the original item again before, finally, buying it. She returns it the following Saturday. Moral of the story: Men go buying, women go shopping. |

I actually like to shop moreso than my wife does. I really can spend all day men's fashion shopping if I wanted to. I love flying to Hong Kong on shopping holidays. In Australia the sales have started... bought some nice Swiss shows and Hugo Boss clothing. Also had a suit tailored this year. But I need to stop shipping for a while, my Mercedes just cost me $1800 to service :-(

before when I was younger, I was a shopper but now, I usually get impatient with crowds and I find it time consuming. Before, I'd buy diff kinds of brands at a certain store (nordstroms) and I have to try it on before buying but now I stick to a couple brands (i love lacoste) and since I know my size, I'd just buy it online.

I'm a pretty much a buyer but can only do it at stores like Selfridges or Bond St. when all the designers ..... are in one place....... I have no patience for the wasted time in between shops.....
But I also have some very strange concepts about "value" and whilst I recently happily paid £350 for a pair of jeans that IMO looked "different", on the same day I moaned about paying £10 for two coffees and two pastries and, if my missus remembers rightly, .....I referred to the mark-up (profit) being similar to drug dealers given the cost of ingredients came to about 50p Very strange how certain brands and designers can make you feel like you're getting good value even though you're still paying through the nose....... |

I like to shop as long as it's something for me, if it's for my wife or daughter I hate it. They just can't make a decision.
