As stated by many above, I'd go for the SS Sub date.

A year ago, it was the TT Blue Sub for me; now considering a SS Daytona.

TT GMT II Ceramic. That's the choice I made and I'm loving it.

I wanted a Rolex watch which was sporty, clean, big, and heavy.
I went with the SD! |

1. What you like 2. Your objective for the watch 3. Whether you are buying to collect or wear as a consumable Not really possible to answer for you. The good news is that you now get to go try on and read about a dozen possible choices and discover the features and look and feel of each. Have fun. |

For me I usually pick based on what role the watch is going to play in my collection. Do I need it for dress or casual? Do I need the GMT function? Do I need a watch for water sports? So for me it all depends on what I already have in my collection and what I need in the way of functionality (besides the time only). All of the Rolexes have movements that are reliable, so there is no particular advantage in ruggedness or reliability or timekeeping amongst any of the models you will be choosing from. Sounds like you have already chosen the GMT II and this seems to me like a good choice.
