Daytona

An original owner white dial Daytona with box and papers from 1999 just popped up on CL here in Phoenix for $6,500, headed there right now to take a look it was even serviced 6 years

That's a great deal if everything checks out and it's in good condition. Good luck.

Good luck and let us know what happens. Shop smart and and watch your a$$.

Not a big fan of CL when dealing with high-end merchandise. Something about a complete stranger knowing that I have $6500 in my back pocket bothers me just a little. Anyone read about the marine that got shot trying to sell his wifes neck chain?

I'd meet at an AD instead of going to their place.

Sounds like a great buy... Reminds me of the time one of our TRF members got a DayDate all YG with YG band for $2500. So was the deal legit?

Make sure you bring your friend named Revolver. $6,500 Daytona on CL doesn't give me the warm fuzzies.

Updated: Watch was really worn....

He had all boxes, papers and service slip from 6 years ago, now almost 7 years. Chrono function would not work and several marks on crystal.

Still not a bad deal for a Daytona, but I passed on it.

Thanks for the warnings and support guys

Make sure you meet in a very public place be certain they know ahead of time that you are not carrying the cash with you. If it checks out, they can accompany you to the bank to finalize the transaction

The watch was working but chorono wasn't? That doesn't seem right even with the scratches that watch is a great deal IMO.
