YG Daytona, SS Daytona rumble with the Safari!
Leaving to Brazil tomorrow morning so staying up all night to sleep on the plane. My brother stuck his YG Daytona in my watchbox so I wore it to dinner tonight. I miss the weight of the gold daytona (used to have the WG/last pic old shot) and it makes the SS feel fragile and toy like. I guess I like the heavier watch. Also prob why I have had my SS up for sale here. I think I may have to buy YG daytona but dont want the same as my brother or makes me consider getting a WG again, maybe the silver dial this time. I REALY WISH THEY MADE A YG DAYTONA WITH YG ARABIC NUMBERS!!!!! WOULD LOOK AMAZING!!!!!
Also tried to get the Safari in there. If you havent seen one in person the camera shots usually dont capture it well. There is silver lining around all the arabic #'s that produces a gorgeous shine and reflection in different light and at different angles, same with the screws in the brushed bezel. ALL IPHONE 4S shots so not amazing |

although It may be the weight of the gold you like dont forget the model daytona SS you have is the older style clasp and does not have solid end links. This might be contributing to the fragile feel especially when the gold one your brother has is the lastest clasp style with solid links all the way around. Just a thought

Great pictures! I must say I really prefer yellow gold to white, did you ever consider a YG Daytona on a leather band? It would be quite different from your brother's watch.

Dislike Rolexs big buckle on the leather band. Wish is was simpler like an ap or Jlc
Also my white gold felt better than the SS and it had the older buckle as well. I just like the weigh of the gold. Feels more sturdy than the SS |
