I'm not convinced
eBay user ID - come8698
item number 290656669235 Link to the item: http://www.ebay.com/itm/ROLEX-MENS-M...item43ac7cce33 Ok, so he says the box is a replacement, fine. Original boxes/papers were 'misplaced'. Happens. But looking at the 3 below mediocre pics, I am not sold on the following: 1) larger than normal gaps between end-links and lugs 2) funky-looking caseback. Maybe it is just the angle of the pic, but it looks awful 'angular'. 3) actual rehaut appearing too thick. Opinions?

Wouldn't touch that . Why include a non original box which in this case is an obvious fake , typical fake Datejust booklet and tag found with the chinese counterfeits when you want to sell an authentic Rolex Milgauss even you did lose the box and documents ?

I agree. Someone is going to be sorry. The bracelet clasp is all wrong with the crown in the wrong place.

I think you can actually see the bogus Rolex crown in the glass! At 6.
Definitely fake.

Truly, why would somebody buy such a high-ticket, easily faked item on ebay from somebody with so little feedback? It just makes no sense.

Worse still, all the feedback is on personal consumer goods.

12 bids already - P.T. Barnum underestimated suckers in internet time.

The number of suckers born per minute has remained on average at roughly the same level since the phrase was coined by Barnum. The apparent increase in numbers is revealed as a function of the increased publication of available statistics, anecdotal and otherwise, due to increased reporting via the internet.

oh, and here's my communication with this clown:
ME: Dear come8698, You DO know this is a fake, right? HIM: That is impossible! How can this watch be fake? It was given to me by my great uncle, who is a Rolex collector himself. ME: Oh, it's possible. It is an obvious fake at that, not even "good" one. Believe me, I have no doubts. HIM: No, my great uncle never collected fakes. What happens to be "fake" on the Rolex? ME: I'm sure he didn't. Bracelet - FAKE, Clasp - FAKE, endlinks - FAKE, crystal - FAKE. Even the crap you have added to it is fake - the tag as well as the manual. Not sure about the box though - that might be real. Listen, do what you want - I was just trying to help.
