So would you flip it?

I just got my 16622 YM and I love it, an opportunity came my way to flip my YM for a two tone 18K submariner...

What do you think, when it comes to value and overall appeal?.

If anyone has some pics if their two tone can you please post them?..thanks

Thanks

I think the Yachtmaster is a silly watch. Not a fan.

The TT Sub is one of the few TT watches I would consider. I like it..as long as the bezel insert did not have the Yellowy colored numbers. Those bug me. I prefer the gold toned.

I prefer the Two-Tone Submariner since I'm a yellow gold guy! Both are very nice though.

Out of those two the Yachtmaster appeals greatly where the two tone doesn't do much for me. If you are a yellow gold fan though I can see how the Sub would be attractive to you, it is very nice. Cheers

Get the sub, I am that type of guy who wouldn't buy a yachtmaster before buying a boat or even just a jetski :P

Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the TT sub unless it is worn on a black leather strap--in that case it just looks sweet. But that'd be a waste of all the gold on the bracelet. It's really personal preference, but I'd keep the yachtmaster. I feel like you see fewer yachtmasters on wrists...and I think its the less flashy watch. But to each his own.

Tough one, but do what works best for you! I really love the YM, however, have never owned one. I have had several 16613s, currently a blue one and like it too. That said, have you considered a 116613- the hollow links on the 16613 might be a bummer for ya...

Just my 2 cents, good luck!

It just depends as to which you like the best. I flipped my YM for a TT Sub Serti.

Keep what you have. No brainer--the platinum dial is magnificent, and gives this model a unique presence.

Functionally very similar. Having had a TT before, I'd stick with your YM.

Ridiculous to say it's a silly watch. Up to you Tom, I prefer the yatchmaster to that Sub.

Have we had any confirmation about the yatchmaster I being discontinued. Yes it is still on the Rolex website, but there is such little attention given to it, all about the Yatchmaster II. Wouldn't be surprised to see it go in the next couple years.

Tough one. YM is a sweet watch. I have always loved its looks. 16613 is what started my love affair with the brand. Keep the one and get/save for the other. Good luck.

I would not flip for that watch. The YM has a lot of versatility! Don't do it.
