Are you sure that's a picture of your watch?

I'm pretty sure I've seen it before.

Looks like the hands and bezel insert were also replaced. The description on your service receipt will let you know what parts are included.

I asked the AD to have them changed whatever needs to be changed including dial and hands.

What shape were the dial, hands, and insert in before you turned in the watch?

Do you have a before PIC handy?

Severely doubt it's fake if Rolex serviced it, charged you for it and gave you the warranty paper work. Congrats on the sub!

Love to know what they did to it. Sounds like an expensive overhaul! ($1100)
ALSO as of last year they are still doing SWISS dials??? That's good to know if true...
Congrats tho!

Probably a new crystal, bezel and lots of movement parts. Sounds like this hasn't had a service in a long time.

The last time this watch was serviced was 10 years ago...Yup bezel and movement parts were changed except this is not a crystal, it's plastic so they just buffed the plastic to take of the scratches.

Thanks guys! What a relief!

It looks like you're one lucky guy.

A brand new 14060M would cost you $6300, plus tax at your AD.

Yup! 6 months ago. Just wanted to make sure. Cuz I don't think I deserve to be here in the forum if I have a fake rolex even though I'm a watch lover just don't have enough funds to buy expensive watches.:)

Yet you said you just purchased a DJ II ? Is that fake too? Last time I checked the retail on DJ II is over 8K usd .... That seems expensive to me unless your definition of expensive watch is different...which I suppose it can be, it's all realtive.. Yet you were concerned about posting a fake watch but can afford a DJ II ? I think I'm confusing myself... Or this thread is still confusing...

Why would you think your own dad will give you a fake watch ? Unless he got it unknowingly, which I doubt.. I would never pass on a fake watch, let alone to my own son!
This post makes no sense...

You wouldn't believe how many times we've read the lines, I inherited this watch and I know nothing about it, but is it real, it's for sale, etc., etc. etc.

It's a such a classic line that usually reveals a fake watch that members just get conditioned to expect a mess.

That's why many were confused or frustrated by the thread until we got some pix.

This story had a happy ending.

Unless he is aware his Dad collects/buys fake watches.

Regardless, we are pretty sure he has the real deal unless ....
