Hi, I have a newbie question. What exactly is the purpose of this barcode looking thing. To let people know it's new? I was too embarassed to ask sooner but what the heck. tx.

I thought it was some laser printed design that faded over time. I guess i didn't really pay attention when it was on mine. I just know it wasn't there anymore one day, lol. Tx |
