Panerai Watch Winder
Hello, Fellow ristis..
I am researching a watch winder for my automatic watches. As my pam is quite heavy compared to other watches like Rolex SD, or TAG cv2010, Would you please recommend which winder could be fit perfectly for those heavy watches like pam? Ppl suggest Orbita, but I don't want to spend that much.. |

There has been a recent thread discussing winders. Orbita is probably the best. Nevertheless, some people seem to be satisfied with a much cheaper one from Brookstone. The size of the watch head probably isn't too much of a problem. I have an8.5 inche wrist and I have problems with closed back holders on certain winders. There simply isn't enough room to contain the band.

I've also had problems with heavy watches slipping out of their holders but if I add a bit of padding they stay put. I've also had to thicken some of the watch pillows, but a bit of fabric makes a big difference.

I have one from Swiss Watch International (dont think they make them any more) and then another from Monaco Designs.
I got the first one from Ebay at a pretty good price (was used) and I got the one from Monaco from dealer off of Ebay. They are a bit more pricey and customer service is tough to get a hold of, but they are nice and they hold up better than the cheap ones off of Ebay. |

I've have had several from Wolf to cheap ones. Each has had their own issue. In any event, check out the one below. I use it now and NEVER have any slippage issues. They also easily store PAM's.
