Very tough to get right now. I called several boutiques and they also do not have any and have long waiting lists as do the AD's. Happy hunting and best of luck finding one!

Impossible to say exactly. I put my name on an AD list in July and had one on my writst before the first of the year. Oh, and I had no relationship with that AD what-so-ever. Did put 50% cash down though...

I actually called Bal Harbour in Miami, NYC and Vegas and none had them-all Boutiques of course. Most had and have waiting lists and don't expect many in as they are only releasing 2k this year I believe. It will become much easier to obtain next year and I certainly wouldn't pay a premium for one.

Please get one for me! I have been on the list at the Beverly Hills Boutique since 10 minutes after they opened on the day of announcement and I'm told delivery won't be until April!

Why is Panerai not shipping these watches? Is there an issue with there factory?
My AD only got 5-10 new PAM's in the last 3 months (most of the got sold right away). All they have on the shelf is a pile of daylight chronographs, 5-10 in house autos, the 233 I tried on 50 times and a few gold pieces. I think they might have 1 or 2 ETA's. Not much to try on. I never heard of any 372's in Canada yet. |

No kidding.
I think it was the sort of deal where they had someone waiting for it but they couldn't reach him/her and my friend happened to have his AMEX in hand and managed to weasel it out of them. There are a bunch of them for sale on many of the fora. If you don't mind paying a slight premium you can definitely get one ASAP. I've seen a few sell for near or at MSRP too. |

I wasn't on any waiting list. Last Nov. one day I decided to get one, called BH boutique, told the waiting list is too long; called NY boutique, told no problem, they were expecting a shipment following week, they would call me then. Sure enough, I got the call 5 days later...

I had the chance to talk to Rafael Alvarez last October. He told me then that with all of the other manufacturing demands, the 372s would trickle out slowly for the first few months. I think everyone who wants one will get one eventually, but it may be 2013 before that happens.
Oh yeah, and the watch is worth every penny and then some IMO. Perfection in my book.

Beautiful. I put my name down over a year ago at a local AD but had 3 people ahead of me. I wonder if this watch will look good and a 6 3/4" wrist. I sometimes feel the 113 is pushing and other times feel it looks great. Doubt I'll get a 390. Called and had my name on the waiting list at one of the Florida, NYC, and Beverly Hills boutiques. Wish that one had the acrylic domed crystal. I hope I get to try one on at some point.

One of my buddy walked into an AD in Chicago and bought one by accident. I say accident because his SA sold him a Deepsea and he was back there to get his bracelet adjusted. He started to look at some of the Panerai in the shelf and the SA showed him the 372 from the backroom. The SA didnt even check the waiting list and just sold it to him. I found out this because I called my SA in that same AD and was able to find out that there are 8 other people on the list for 372. Lucky for him...
