Here's another Daytona question:

What is it with all the different dials?

I'm a little confused - it seems that these days, Rolex is making new WG Daytonas with a slate Arabic dial, not white.

Then I've also heard and seen of meteorite dials and white Arabic. The SS Daytone comes with the standard white dial.

Does Rolex release different dials for the WG Daytona on a limited run basis? Or can you actually order a new WG Daytona with a dial of your choice?

I'm not an expert but my guess is that it is possible to order a specific dial (in between the currently available ones) if you order the watch. As for the release of them I'm guessing they just make new ones from times to times to give the watch another look but I don't know how limited they are.

You can choose anyone of the dials for that reference when making the order at your AD.
Rolex releases various dials each year for random models, And they are not limited only available as long as Rolex wants them to be.

These are the dials available today.
