Insurance question

I'm sure this question has come up before, but can someone please give me the names of a few good jewelry insurers based out of the USA. And please, lets not start the whole gun thing again. I have a CHL permit and a safe full of pistols and rifles.
Not the insurance I am looking for.

Just need the names of a some of the larger or more reputable insurers. I have State Farm and they will insure for me on a rider policy of course, but for my car collection I use Haggerty Insurance and their stated value policy is less than half of what State Farm would charge. I'm just curious if jewelry insurance falls along these same lines?

Thanks!
Steve

The jewelery insurance I have checked into is VERY high. I could be wrong, but I think rider policy would be your best bet! I pay about $100 bucks per year for $20K

I have a policy with Jewlers Mutual. Insuring a 16610 Sub and a 6917 Ladies Datejust and a 1.02 ct pear GIA ring for a total of $14,000 Zero deductable for $193.00 a year against theft, accidenal damage or loss. I think it is pretty damn good. My home owners policy required scheduling and a 1% deuctable. I have a $230,000 home. Thats $2300.00 just to file the claim. No way Jose. PM me if you want more details.

I insured my YM TT MOP with Jewelers Mutual. The yearly cost for a 10k appraisal is $135. For me that is well worth my peace of mind. That includes 100% replacement , even mysterious disappearance.

I insured my Explorer II for replacement cost of a new 1 at $5k for around $70 a year with State Farm, no deductible.

I investigated Jewelers Mutual but people complained about their requirement that the watch be evaluated/appraised on an annual?? basis to maintain coverage. Is this a requirement and what is the cost?
