Recommend a Rolex Service Center?
Hi guys, have a 6 year old Oyster datejust and was looking on the net for a RSC as I just moved to Washington DC from Singapore. The only RSC I found close to me was the one in New York. However, I found several websites claiming to be authorized and certified RSCs. Are they to be believed and where do you guys have your Rolexes serviced. Thanks!

Welcome to TRF. There is one in New York, however it seems like more perople recommend the one in Dallas.

It may be a good idea to check out the AD's is D.C. and see who has a watch maker on staff and what they charge. If nothing else they can handle the shipping of the watch off to RSC, etc.
Plus you can do some watch shopping and learn your new area BTW, is the watch not keeping time while 6 years is in service range it doesn't need to be done tomorrow if the watch is keeping good time |

Had a very good (and fast) experience with them on a minor repair.

RSC NYC is good. My choice would be Bob Ridley, vintage or new model.
Good Luck. gb |

The only authorized dealer in DC, Tiny Jewel Box, has the most outstanding service and a full time, extremely knowledgeable watch maker on staff. They really are extraordinary and I highly recommend them.

I recently visited a local AD while on a trip to the DC/Virginia area. My husband and I were very impressed with Tiny Jewel Box, an authorized AD for the area, located in DC. Our salesman, George, was very knowledgeable and approachable.
As far as RSCs, we have had excellent service with the Dallas location, and likely will send our Rolexes there for future service when needed. Good luck with your search. Be sure and check out Tiny Jewel Box in DC. |
