GMT MASTER ll
I just bought a D serial gmt master 2 with coke bezel. and i just noticed something different from other gmt that i have seen. My question is the GMT-MASTER ll print above the 6 marker on the dial is different then other GMT i have seen. On this watch they look like this ll, in comparison to other watches that look like II. The watch was bought from a very reputable person, so i know the watch is authentic. My question is did Rolex make different fonts for the dial?

Hey Hani...good to see you made it on TRF.
That's completely legit and you've got a rare bird. You may have gotten a better deal on it than you thought. This is known as the 'stick dial' variation of the 16710. |
