What is in a Name?

What made you guys pick the name you have as your member name?

For me the girls back in school used to call me daunwaun, they used to say " we 'daunwaun' you around"

I used to work in a foundry with some pretty rough characters. I had a ratty looking leather jacket at the time, and a pretty raucious sense of humor....they tagged me as Rawhyde. I've had that as a nickname and screen name ever since.

Nothing exciting or special for me - the initials (JAD) and the last four digits of my first telephone number (3703).

Guess everyone knows that I use my full name. I thought it was just for details and we got the chance later to put another nick name in sign up process.

And worse, I can't change the nick name after the sign up.

Look "Spacedweller" up in Rolex books, nice story about that rare Rolex "Explorer" model

Here is a quote from the book "The Rolex Report" by John E. Brozek:

"In 1963, Rolex launched what would prove to be the most sought after model in the Explorer line, the Space-Dweller (model 1016). This version of the Explorer was to commemorate a visit to Japan by NASA's Mercury Astronauts".

I found it was a good name, since I "dwell" (stay, live) here on this web "SPACE" TRF a lot

Here is a pic of the "Spacedweller" Rolex:

Teofilo was the name of a Champion racehorse that was going to win me a lot of money (and pay for a SS Daytona with the loose change)........I had him(as the last horse) in doubles and trebles from the previous seasons racing.
He was a red hot favourite for the 2000 Guineas at Newmarket......and was withdrawn with a career ending injury the day before the race...........sod's law strikes again!
I keep the name to remind me that there is no such thing in racing(or life) as an absolute certainty !!!!!!

Maybe the girl and the car have something in common? Like the back seat?
