Simple questions from a new member
Greeting to everyone from San Francisco. I am new here , and have two simple questions for the old timers.
On the "Watch out" section of the Forum, I came across many references to questionable watches listed on Ebay, but never listings on the "For Sale" section of the Forum. I understand the MODs watch the Forum very closely, but no even once someone tries to pull a fast one ? Members have posted on this section "What do you think" questions regarding Ebay listings, is it appropriate for one to ask for opinion regarding forum listed watches ? |

If the Mods spot something fishy they will contact the seller or pull the ad and ban the seller, you can count on it,they also do random checks on some sellers.

it does happen but is a rare occurrence as it will usually be spotted quite quickly. if you see one and are not sure you can always ask in teh watchout section.
and welcome

Someone who's spent months and years building their reputation isn't going to jeopardize it with a quick scam. I've seen a few instances involving relatively new members that were quickly dealt with by the mods and membership.

It happens, but very rarely. TRF has an excellent moderating team.
Welcome!

Sometimes the TRF is like a lion's den.
You can walk in with a fake smile. But if you walk in with a fake watch you will be condemned regardless of social status or your blood line is bred from royalty... |
