3k GB pounds is a bit too much for a 9 year old sub that has not been serviced.
Try and haggle abit offer him 2,500 pounds, see what he says (that is if you indeed decide to go used) |

OK so having sold my house and having to move back in with the parents for time being buying new is fast becoming my preffered option!! 12 months 0% finance could just possibly be too hard to turn down!!

have bought both new and used, and quite honestly a used watch just comes down to condition.with a service it sounds like the used one will be back to new specs.i like the idea of knowing i can get my money back if i am going to trade or sell.if you are only going to own one watch buy the one you like.

I'd buy new.
I really like the upgrades on the new SubC.
If you get the older one I would have it serviced so you know everything is on the up and up. |

If you are looking at the watch as an investment, as long as you don't overpay, you can't go wrong with an older Sub.
If you could afford to take a hit financially, go new. |

Newbie post.
I'm looking for a birth year watch, which makes it well over 9 years old! A non-abused 1601 DJ from the early 70's should be good for a few more years if serviced? Paul |
