pinky rule?

I know there's been many threads talking about how loose (or tight) your Rolex should be worn and quite a few people have said they use the pinky rule. When I adjust my Rolex so that I can fit my pinky in between my wrist and the clasp it seems way to loose and slides all over the place. Any thoughts??

That is how I wear mine, just enough to slip my pinky between the clasp and my wrist.

This is just enough to keep the watch comfortable when my wrist swells in the heat.

The pinky rule is very deceiving. I've been trying to fine tune my fit for the last three weeks, and have had various fits from too tight (leaving heavy imprints on my wrist to being able to fit my index finger nearly all the way in (this is what it was when it was purchased). I've had my watch in 4 different fit settings and each one I could fit my pinky in - so to say that the right fit means your pinky can fit doesn't help much.

My advice to you is to not worry about how well your pinky fits - keep adjusting your watch until you find the most comfortable for you. Once you make an adjustment wear it for a couple of days - if you feel that it's too loose then tighten it up. I don't like when my watch is loose enough to slide over my wrist bone to rest on my hand. Therefore, I kept adjusting until the watch until it would stay snug above the wrist bone but not leave an imprint on my arm.
