Where is Peyton Manning Going to End Up?

Looks like the Colts are going to release Peyton Manning today which isn't much of a surprise. So where does everyone think he will end up playing? I actually think one team would be contenders if they signed him, the Denver Broncos. A good young team with talented wider receivers. If they had someone who could pass they could be a very good team. There are plenty of other suitors out there. I have heard the Jets, Redskins, Texans and even San Francisco mentioned as well. Should be interesting.

Agreed. Denver would be the best fit, even though I'm a major Tebow fan. (He made need a few seasons yet ). Peyton has maybe two good ones left in him, if he can stay healthy.

I'm sure Elway would love to have him. The move makes sense.

He should take his talents to South Beach. He could teach LeBron how to act like a professional.

Agreed and with Elway making the big decisions he knows what a healthy Peyton could do for his team. Bring Peyton in on little upfront money and pad his contract with a million incentives. If he plays and plays well he gets his money. Peyton has even said he would be willing to play under an incentive filled contract.

Miami or Arizona. Best fit to be a rich multimillionaire. Denver is nice but too cold.

Miami, we have the WR, oline, RB, defense.

We just need that QB to put us over the hump and Peyton would be perfect. Peyton had a home here and the no state income tax.

I would like to see him with the texans. The Colts better hope Luck is as good as they are thinking he is gonna be........anyone remember todd marinavich Even just the fact that it can take time to make the switch college/nfl, not to mention how great of a mentor peyton could have been to Luck.

I would LOVE for him to come to Denver...so sick of the hype around Tebow. It is a joke.

Agree. The list of first round drafted QBs that washed out is long indeed.

Who ever picks him up could afford a high draft pick for what the performance insurance policy is going to cost. Hey, even football teams have risk managers.

Seattle & Miami are front runners IMO. Arizona has a lot tied up in Kolb but still a decent chance. Broncos a very intriguing team. KC remote possibility. Everyone else is outside looking in.

When you really think about it, the city that lands Manning will enjoy an economic boost from all the activity that will be created around his arrival.

People forget, if he's "right" he's maybe the best QB of all time. He's never been in trouble, he's the perfect front man and supposedly studies harder and is more well prepared than any player in the league

I'd release Kolb in a second and do anything to get Manning in Arizona throwing to Larry Fitzgerald

Agreed that I would dump Kolb for Manning yesterday all things being equal. I just don't know how big of a salary cap hit it would be to drop Kolb AND sign Manning... a lot of salary cap tied up in the qb position at the expense of rest of team. Again, I just don't know. If its not a big hit, then I say they would be ideal candidate.

Well looks like the Colts get the Trojan b*ner of the week award. Rolex doesn't look so stupid now. Anyone remember how great Ryan Leaf was supposed to be. How do you cut Manning for an uncertainty? I think Jim may have relapsed. Sad when a great thing ends in such a dumpster fire.

It will be interesting but I think he's going to a team that he knows fairly well and played many times against to Colts.

But I'm sure in the end the $$$ will make the difference.

In addition to money, he has to go to a team that are contenders with the addition of a good quaterback. He has a limited time and I don't see him going to a team that isn't instantly a playoff team.
