Speak soon

Nothing quite like putting your own stamp on your home.....

We've just (well more or less) finished a 10 year project to transform our 1850 townhouse in London whilst we lived there......

If any one needs an unbelievably talented Polish master builder....... let me know. Can't praise him enough ........ and a world away from some of the British imitators we suffered

You're a better man than me to attempt that renovation. One of the criteria we give the realtor when we're buying is that if it needs more than paint and maybe some new carpet we're not interested. :)
Congrats on the new place!

Not too bad. We're not moving in till it's done and done right, no big deal

thanks. We looked at a lot of places, around 100. Some were finished products and some needed work. After a few long talks with the mrs we decided we wanted to make the place our own and it didn't matter what it looked like on the inside as long as we liked it's "charm". The inside can always be gutted and redone. When done this house will be ours in every way, and that's what we're looking forward to.
Also helps that we're not living there till its complete.

Clark, looking great mate, effort well worth the while. That kitchen area is a real transformation. Well done and I hope all is well and the renovations are on track?

Phase 1 haemorrhaging Rolexes is just about complete for us, I'll get some pics up soon, I've been busy working. Next phase will be haemorrhaging Patek Phillip's, soon to start.

Looking forward to updates.

Great job so far, I just finished remodeling my first house as well and just had my Fiance move in with me. Its a great experience to be able to put your own stamp on the house. I'm not sure how long I'll stay in it until I start my next project but it was fun and exhausting all at the same time. Enjoy and congrats on everything

Well done! I love the colors you've chosen for the kitchen. Really have added personality to your house.

Thanks!
After 4-5 weeks of ownership it finally feels like a home. We're so glad we bought a house we could make out own and fortunate enough not to have to move in till the major construction was done. The mrs gets the credit, she's got style (although I don't know what she was thinking in the laundry area )
I'll post up some more when it's complete another month or so. We had the ceiling painted too, which came out really cool!
