OMG...i just died turning Masters green with envy...

I actually have recurring dreams about walking the hallowed grounds of Augusta National. Always wake up slightly satisfied then depressed...

I was there in 2003 and 2005 amazing experiance

food is/was fairly priced, try the olive and pimento sandwhich, and the logo merchandise is VERY expensive, but worth it

Wear comfy shoes, the course is more suited to a billy goat than a guy walking around with a beer and a cigar. I saw many poeple fall and roll down hills while I was there, especially in the morning when it was damp.

Yes. Been going since I was 5. We have 8 tickets in our family and my uncles boss is a member at Augusta National. IMO Wednesday is the best day to go. Almost all of the players are very approachable and very happy to talk to fans and sign stuff. A few years ago I was allowed to go out on the range and got to putt on the practice range with Lee Trivino, Fuzzy Zoeller, and Craig Stadler. I fooled around on the practice range last year too but it was empty. This year will be my 20th Masters and I'm 27. Since I started going I've missed it only 2 years. It's an amazing experience. The price of everything there is pretty reasonable. Shirts are in the $60-80 range. Food is cheap too. Beers are less than most bars.

WOW!! For any golfer you have been living what i would consider Heaven!! Your kidding me. I would die a happy man just seeing one Masters let alone 20!! Two things i wanted in life...a Rolex Submariner and to visit Augusta National for The Masters 1 down 1 to go!!

I grew up in GA/AL and it was something I always did with my grandfather and uncle. There is truly nothing else like it in the world. I'm still waiting to actually play a round there. Hopefully in a few years it will happen. You can find passes on eBay. Some of the prices are very high but there are reasonable ones as well.

I've been a few times but probably not this year. Great experience and needless to say, the course is beautiful. Just remember, no phones or cameras allowed for the competition rounds except for accredited photographers.

This is very important. They WILL ask you to leave if they see a phone.

Tons of good places to eat. Bistro 491, Bees Knees, Boll Weavel Cafe, Sportscenter sports bar, Frog Hollow Tavern. There is pretty much all the normal upscale chains too. The Alto Ego Sports bar is a nice hole in the wall joint. Masters week everything is crowded. Make reservations. Most of the bars will be full of middle aged golf fans so there is a group of people to meet everywhere. Look up the reviews on trip advisor. Some of the places I mentioned are fried southern food. Some nicer more elegant places.

Evenings in Augusta ? Yeah right......buy food, grill out and drink beer all from the comfort of your house or hotel....there really is not muuch there.

It's a tough ticket for sure, however the last couple of years it's been pretty easy to get in, I gather mostly because of the economy. Tickets are now available when they really weren't just a few years ago.
