Sub/GMT question!

Anyone know why the minute hands on Sub's and GMT's are curved/bent slightly upwards towards the end?

I never noticed until a read a comment recently and nobody seemed to know the answer, I'd love to know!

Hmm my minute hand isnt completely level and I presumed this was normal after seeing a previous post.

It's straight at the tip but has a gradual curvature stemming from the base of the stack and resulting in the tip of the hand being raised higher.

Strange

It's not really curved.. it is concave across the top on the modern hour hands..

Likely it's just a better way to catch the light..

Yeh mines definitely like that tools! Although it seems my minute hand ( GMTiic is curved too although it seems to be when I'm viewing the hand from the sides it seems lower at the base of the stack and higher at the tip if that makes sense!

I'm sure it's normal
Cheers
